Overview

This taglib contains tags for definition of special DHTML tree control (based on DHTML eXtensions Tree component). It includes such features as:

Multibrowser/Multiplatform support
Full controll with JavaScript API
Dynamic loading
XML support
drag-&-drop (within one tree, between trees)
checkboxes (two/three states)
customizable icons (with javascript or xml)
user data for nodes
high stability

Requirements

This custom tag library requires servlet container that supports the JavaServer Pages Specification, version 1.1 or higher.

Configuration

Follow these steps to configure your web application with this tag library:

Copy the tag library descriptor file to the /WEB-INF subdirectory of your web application. (Only for Tomcat 3.x)

Add a <taglib> element to your web application deployment descriptor in /WEB-INF/web.xml like this:

       <taglib>
         <taglib-uri>http://www.scand.com/taglibs/dhtmlxtree</taglib-uri>
         <taglib-location>/WEB-INF/dhtmlxtree-taglib.tld</taglib-location>
       </taglib>

(Only for Tomcat 3.x)

Copy the tag library JAR file to the /WEB-INF/lib subdirectory of your web application.

To use the tags from this library in your JSP pages, add the following directive at the top of each page:

<%@ taglib uri="http://www.scand.com/taglibs/dhtmlxtree" prefix="sc" %>

where "sc" is the tag name prefix you wish to use for tags from this library. You can change this value to any prefix you like.

	Activate drag-&-drop (true,false). Default value is "false".

	Style for the tree box. Default value is "background-color:whitesmoke;border:1px solid blue;".
